GhostTube VOX Synthesizer is a video toolkit and sound synthesizer for paranormal investigators and video creators. The app uses the environmental sensors in your phone to measure fluctuations in the environment. Using these readings, it synthesizes commonly used sounds, syllables, words and phrases from online digital broadcasts when specific magnetic signatures are detected. The theory being tested by this app is that spirits can communicate by influencing their environment to select and/or manipulate sounds. Users can also adjust the echo, reverb and distortion of synthesized sounds, and best of all, unlike other paranormal apps, GhostTube comes with NO pre-recorded sounds. Despite what the description says, this app only works if you give it access to not only your microphone but also your camera. If you do not give it access to your camera, it will not work. All I wanted was an audio app, no camera required. Unfortunately I had to uninstall it without using the app past the permissions section. *UPDATE*: The developer actually listened to feedback and modified the app. Awesome! You don't see that very often.

Our app was primarily designed to be a video camera app to allow you to film your paranormal investigations. After your feedback, we have now implemented the ability to use the core functions without cam/mic permissions but you won't be able to record your sessions though without them.

1) Look up what a ghost box is instead of impulse download. 2) You can easily transfer files through from your phone to your computer and so on... I'll leave it there. Now, the review. You have to be patient and listen carefully to your response if you receive one. Learning this app is easy. It has a huge learning curve, and the more you use it, the more you will understand what noise is, radio, etc. I love it it! It works great, no bugs, and it surprisingly works well. Very thought out.

I was extremely skeptical, doubtful, but I tried the app for a few mins to test it out. One of the first voices said "building bridges".... I had just finished watching a video about bridges that collapsed and we're rebuilt! So that was a very relevant and intelligent response. I also heard a woman's voice say "nice apartment"... I do live in an apartment. I also asked if they were having trouble using the app to communicate. The immediate response was "talking through it." Yes, is legit

Just like any other paranormal tool though, you should understand and consider how it works when intepreting results. Eg. our app generates sounds when specific magnetic signatures are detected.
